Peak day at Zurich Airport with 111,000 passengers

The peak day so far this summer at Zurich Airport was July 26. 111,000 passengers traveled through Zurich on this day. However, the all-time record was not broken. This dates back to summer 2019 and stands at 115,000 passengers.
The most popular destinations this July included places in the Mediterranean and America, as the airport announced on Monday.
Overall, the airport was satisfied with the summer operations. Waiting times at check-in, security and border control could have been reduced. However, the large number of delays was "unsatisfactory".
