Police officers slightly injured during operation in Neuchâtel apartment

Two Neuchâtel police officers were slightly injured on Sunday during an operation in an apartment in Peseux NE. The police were alerted after an argument broke out between several people in the apartment.
When they arrived at the apartment, the police officers were attacked by two people. One of them injured them by kicking them, among other things, according to the Neuchâtel cantonal police on Monday.
Two patrols were called in as reinforcements to arrest the people involved. During the arrest, the most aggressive of them put up resistance and damaged one of the police vehicles before the man was finally overpowered by the police officers, the communiqué continues.
He was taken to hospital for a check-up and then taken into police custody, as were the other people involved in the altercation. Two Swiss nationals aged between 35 and 40 were finally reported to the public prosecutor's office. During the operation, the police seized small quantities of narcotics.
