The power outage in the city of Bern and the surrounding area was restored on Sunday morning. The exact cause was initially unknown.
A BKW spokesperson said on request that the power outage was rectified shortly after 11.00 am. The widespread power outage occurred shortly after 10.00 a.m. on Sunday morning. According to information from the energy service provider EWB, several districts and neighboring communities were affected.
