President of the National Council Candinas Leads Diplomats to Heididorf.

National Council President Martin Candinas has invited foreign ambassadors to Switzerland on a discovery tour of his home canton of Graubünden. The tour will take place on August 30th and will include a visit to the Heididorf in Maienfeld, as well as a visit to the Bündner economy. The diplomats will also visit the internationally active medical technology company Hamilton in the Churer Rheintal. The tour will conclude with an official reception by the Bündner government at the agricultural training centre Plantahof in Landquart. President Candinas emphasised the importance of showcasing the diversity of Switzerland to the outside world and strengthening international relations on a parliamentary level. The tour is an opportunity for the ambassadors to gain a better understanding of the culture and economy of Graubünden and to strengthen the diplomatic ties between Switzerland and other countries.
