Rail traffic between Zurich main station and Aarau restricted

Rail services between Zurich main station and Aarau station are only running to a limited extent due to a catenary fault on Friday evening. Passengers should expect delays, cancellations and detour, according to the SBB online portal.
Among those affected were the TGV connection between Zurich and the French capital Paris, the IC1, IC3, IC5, IC8 and IC81, according to the Swiss Federal Railways SBB portal.
Several Interregio trains were also affected. The restriction lasted until around 9.30 pm.
