Los equipos de rescate buscan posibles víctimas tras un incendio en el Valais

A commercial building in the municipality of Vionnaz in Lower Valais burned down completely on Wednesday morning. The operation was still ongoing at midday to search for possible victims.
Several fire departments and the Monthey chemical brigade were deployed, as reported by the Valais cantonal police on Wednesday. It was initially unclear whether there were any injuries.
Shortly after 3.30 a.m., the cantonal police operations center received an alarm that a commercial building on the Route du Simplon in Vionnaz was on fire. Despite the rapid intervention of several fire departments and the Monthey chemical brigade, the building was completely destroyed by the fire, according to the police.
The public prosecutor's office launched an investigation into the possible cause of the fire.
