Smoke Inhalation from Fire in a Holiday Home in Ticino

On Sunday evening, a 37-year-old man from the canton of St. Gallen suffered a mild case of smoke inhalation after a holiday home in Vairano TI caught fire. He was taken to hospital by the emergency services. The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were not known at the time. The flames spread throughout the entire house. Firefighters from Bellinzona and Gambarogno managed to bring the fire under control.
