SP party council recommends two-person ticket for the Federal Council elections

At its extraordinary meeting, the SP Party Council declared all six candidates to be unreservedly qualified for the SP Federal Council ticket. The party council also recommends a two-person ticket for the Federal Council elections to the parliamentary group.
This was announced by the SP via the short message service X, formerly Twitter. Tomorrow, Friday, the SP parliamentary group will decide on the size of the ticket. On Saturday, the party will announce the final nomination for the ticket for December 13.
The candidates for the SP Federal Council ticket are Bernese National Councillor Matthias Aebischer, Bernese Government Councillor Evi Allemann, Graubünden National Councillor Jon Pult, Basel Government Councillor Beat Jans, Zurich Councillor of States Daniel Jositsch and Vaud National Councillor Roger Nordmann.
