Swiss army takes part in NATO exercise in Germany

The Swiss Armed Forces will take part in the multinational NATO Tiger Meet exercise in Schleswig, Germany, until June 13. This is one of the largest air operations exercises in Europe, which takes place in a different country every year, as the army announced on Monday.

In Germany, Swiss Air Force pilots are using four F/A-18 aircraft to improve their knowledge and skills in transnational air defense, according to the statement.

A total of 50 members of the Swiss Armed Forces will travel to the exercise. A total of ten nations with over 50 fighter aircraft, ten helicopters and 1500 personnel will take part in the exercise.
