Swiss plane from Bucharest to Zurich has to land in Graz

A Swiss plane made an unscheduled landing in Graz, Austria, on Monday evening. It was on its way from Bucharest to Zurich.
Swiss spokesman Michael Pelzer confirmed the incident to the Keystone-SDA news agency in response to media reports. Around half an hour ago, the aircraft was still on the runway. The passengers were evacuated.
It was not initially clear why the crew of the Swiss plane decided to land in Graz. Pelzer did not wish to comment on reports that smoke had been detected in the aircraft. A task force is currently analyzing the case, he said.
