Swiss stock exchange SIX launches offering for climate data

The stock exchange operator SIX is launching a new offering for climate data. This gives customers access to emissions data from over 33,000 companies worldwide.
The offering is intended to support them in reporting and monitoring climate factors and in making climate-related investment decisions, SIX announced on Wednesday. The offering combines several data sets on regulatory, historical and forward-looking climate impacts.
The data comes from MSCI and Inrate, among others. In addition, SIX now gives its clients access to the CDP environmental data platform.
