The Three Previous Ones Defend Zug National Council Seats

Gerhard Pfister (Mitte), Thomas Aeschi (SVP) and Manuela Weichelt (Alternative - the Greens) have been re-elected to the Swiss National Council for another term. Pfister, the president of Mitte, received the most votes with 16,522. Aeschi, the leader of the SVP faction, received 15,196 votes, and Weichelt of ALG received 7,609 votes. The voter turnout was 53.1%. The three candidates have successfully defended their seats in the National Council, and will continue to represent the canton of Zug in the Swiss government.
