Valais police stop speeders in a 50 km/h zone

A Portuguese man was stopped by the Valais police in Sion on Saturday. The 35-year-old was traveling at 115 km/h in the 50 km/h zone shortly before midnight.
In addition to a heavy fine and the withdrawal of his driver's license for at least two years, the speeding offender faces a prison sentence of one to four years, as the Valais cantonal police announced on Tuesday.
