Woman in Serious Condition After Bathing Accident in Lutry VD

A 61-year-old Serbian woman is in a serious condition after a swimming accident in Lutry VD. On Saturday afternoon, she was found unconscious in Lake Geneva, according to the Waadt Cantonal Police. People nearby brought the unconscious woman to shore and performed CPR. Rescue workers then took her to a hospital in Lausanne, where she remains in a serious condition. The police have begun investigations to determine the cause of the accident. They also warned of the danger of drowning, especially on hot days, and urged caution.
