You could fill Lake Zug with the rain since Saturday

Since Saturday, 2,976,648,500,000 liters of rain have fallen in Switzerland. This was calculated by the weather service Meteonews Switzerland, as it wrote on Twitter on Wednesday. You could almost fill Lake Zug with that.
The most precipitation in the last 72 hours fell in La Dôle VD with 128 liters per square meter, ahead of Säntis AR with 117 liters.
From western Switzerland to the western Alps and central Switzerland to the eastern foothills of the Alps, there has been more than 50 liters of precipitation per square meter in many places since Sunday evening, according to Meteonews.
Due to the persistent rainfall, the flood situation in Switzerland worsened further on Wednesday. Lake Biel BE burst its banks and Lake Greifen ZH exceeded the flood limit on Wednesday.
