Stress At Work On The Rise In Switzerland: Report Claims

Federal statistical office reports rising work stress, impacting 23% of the workforce.

According to the Federal Statistical Office, the proportion of people in Switzerland who feel stressed at work has increased by five percent over the past decade. As of 2022, 23% of the workforce reported feeling stressed.

The Swiss Health Survey revealed that 25% of working women and 21% of working men usually or always experience work-related stress. The healthcare and social services sectors reported the highest levels of stress, with 29% of employees affected.

Additionally, 47% of men and 43% of women were exposed to at least three out of ten potential physical risks at work in 2022.
