78-year-old attempted to rob a garage in Walenstadt SG

Following a robbery at a car garage in Walenstadt SG, the St. Gallen cantonal police have identified a 78-year-old Swiss national. According to a statement, he allegedly entered the store on October 23 wearing a Halloween mask and demanded cash.
The man fled without any loot in a black Volvo with a license plate from the Principality of Liechtenstein. He has now been reported to the public prosecutor's office of the canton of St.Gallen, the press release added.
