Thierry Burkart, the Aargau Senator, has been clearly re-elected in the first round of voting. For the free SVP seat in the Senate, a second round of voting will take place. Benjamin Giezendanner (SVP) and Gabriela Suter (SP) are leading the field, with Marianne Binder-Keller (Mitte) in fourth place. In the first round of voting for the Aargau Senate seat, Thierry Burkart was clearly re-elected. For the free SVP seat, a second round of voting will take place between Benjamin Giezendanner (SVP) and Gabriela Suter (SP), with Marianne Binder-Keller (Mitte) in fourth place.
