Actor Peter Wyssbrod has died at the age of 86

The actor and pantomime Peter Wyssbrod passed away on May 7. This is according to an obituary from his family and media reports. Wyssbrod could be seen in the film "Die Herbstzeitlosen".

The Biel actor died after a short illness, according to the obituary. The actor was born in Biel on January 10, 1938. Wyssbrot had a wide range of activities, including acting, pantomime, directing and painting.

Sometimes he stood alone on the theater stage, or he could be seen on the big screen. For example in the films "Anna Göldin - Letzte Hexe", "Die Herbstzeitlosen" or in "Der Verdingbub". In 2006, Wyssbrot was awarded the Swiss cabaret prize "Goldener Thunfisch". Wyssbrod was awarded the Biel Culture Prize in 1985.
