Amherd assures Ukraine of support and solidarity

President Viola Amherd has pledged her support and solidarity to the Ukrainian people. She commented on the second anniversary of the Russian attack on Ukraine in a video message distributed via the short message service X.
"For two years, you have been experiencing the horrors of a full-blown war," said Amherd, addressing the Ukrainian people directly. Switzerland paid tribute to the huge sacrifices being made every day. "We assure them of our continued support and solidarity. Long live democracy," concluded the President of the Swiss Confederation.
