Basler Kantonalbank must look for new Head of Sales Private Clients

Andreas Ruesch, Head of Sales Private Clients at Basler Kantonalbank (BKB), is leaving the bank with immediate effect. Regula Berger, Head of Commercial Client Sales, is now taking over the role of Deputy CEO and Deputy Chairwoman of the Group Executive Board.
Ruesch will continue his professional career outside the Group, BKB announced on Tuesday. The search for a successor to Ruesch as Head of Sales Private Clients has been initiated. He is thanked in the communiqué "for his great commitment and his valuable contributions to the success of the BKB Group".
René Bürgisser will now manage the Private Clients Sales division on an interim basis. The definitive successor to the divisional management will be decided in the coming months. The position on the Executive Board of Basler Kantonalbank and on the Group Executive Board will remain vacant until then.
