Berset Forecasts Complicated Office for His Successor

The outgoing Swiss Health Minister Alain Berset has predicted a complicated task for his successor. He advised her to tackle the problems head-on, even if it means going against everyone. Berset was convinced that a member of another party would not be able to manage the Department of the Interior better. He said that the problems in the health system are due to the multitude of actors. If he were completely free, he would oblige all actors in the health system to an annual meeting. He also emphasized transparency in both interviews, saying that he would set up a system where one can see who does what at what price.
