Birdlife Switzerland implements 150 nature conservation projects

Birdlife Switzerland has implemented 150 small and large nature conservation projects in the last two years. According to the association, these include hundreds of new trees, thousands of hedge bushes and new ponds or natural gardens.
The projects were initiated as part of Birdlife Switzerland's 100th anniversary at the beginning of 2022, as the association announced on Thursday. "100 nature conservation projects were the goal for the 100th anniversary - the Birdlife sections and the entire Birdlife association have now implemented as many as 150 nature conservation projects."
The implementation of the projects was made possible by around 40,000 hours of voluntary work, according to the press release. The association also presented the implemented measures on its website.
