Bull escaped from slaughterhouse and shot in the canton of Jura

A bull that escaped from the slaughterhouse caused a disturbance in Saignelégier JU on Tuesday morning. The bull was finally located in a residential area and shot, according to the Jura police.
The bull escaped from the slaughterhouse at 10.00 a.m. and fled to the center of Saignelégier. The animal had posed a danger to the population and was shot by the emergency services in a residential area at around 10.50 a.m. with the owner's consent.
According to the press release, apart from the bull that was killed, no damage was caused.
