Canton of Neuchâtel allows shooting of a wolf after attack on cattle

The canton of Neuchâtel authorized the individual shooting of a wolf on Saturday. The animal had attacked a cow during the night in Val-de-Travers. There had already been an attack in the vicinity ten days ago.
The canton announced on Saturday that the same wolf was almost certainly responsible for both attacks. The permit to shoot the wolf is valid for 60 days.
