Daniel Jositsch, SP member of the Council of States from Zurich, is to become the new Central President of the Swiss Fishing Association (SFV). He is to succeed former Solothurn SP Councillor of States Roberto Zanetti.

The SFA Executive Committee will unanimously propose the election of Jositsch to the Delegates' Assembly on June 29 in Obwalden, as the association announced on Wednesday. Jositsch has a big heart for nature and animals.

He values fishing because it is one of the basic forms of animal use, but also because it is a sport, a form of compensation and part of our cultural heritage. And Jositsch is also not averse to a good fish menu, according to the press release.
