Delta sailor seriously injured in crash in Schiers GR

A 62-year-old delta sailor crashed into a meadow in Schiers on Tuesday afternoon. According to a statement from the cantonal police of Graubünden, he was seriously injured. A helicopter took him to the cantonal hospital in St. Gallen.
One person witnessed the crash, alerted the rescue services and provided first aid, the press release continued. The cantonal police of Graubünden began an investigation into the incident under the direction of the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland.
