Expansion of the Research Center for Children and Adolescent Medicine

The Botnar Research Centre for Child Health (BRCCH) at the University of Basel and ETH Zurich has been granted 50 million Swiss francs from the Fondation Botnar. This money will be used to fund six new professorships in the fields of paediatrics and public health. The research areas of the newly appointed professors range from biomolecular diagnostics to the examination of ethical and political frameworks in the digitalised paediatric healthcare system. So far, the BRCCH has been supported by the Fondation Botnar with a total of 115 million Swiss francs. The centre's research focuses on improving the health of children and young people worldwide.nnnnnnnnnnnn
