Eight people will have to answer to the Lucerne Criminal Court on Monday over a fatal dispute in Geuensee LU in 2021. The first of four days of the trial began with the questioning of the main defendant. He is accused of intentional homicide.

The man is said to have stabbed several people with a 16-centimeter-long blade. According to the indictment, he stabbed one person in the left chest and pierced the right ventricle. The person died within a few seconds. He also stabbed another person in the back of the head, causing a 15-centimeter-long severing of the scalp.

The cause of the physical altercation in Geuensee was a failed business relationship, according to the statement.

Due to lack of space, the trial will not take place in the criminal court in Lucerne, but in the St. Martin Center in Hochdorf LU.
