Fatal Swimming Accident in Lake Lugano

A 58-year-old Swiss woman drowned in Lake Lugano on Tuesday evening. According to the Ticino Cantonal Police, the woman's body was recovered from a depth of two meters early Wednesday morning. The woman, who was on vacation at a campsite, was reported missing shortly after 8 pm on Tuesday. In addition to the Ticino Cantonal Police and the Lugano City Police, personnel from the campsite also participated in the search for the 58-year-old. The lifeless body of the Swiss woman was found shortly after 3 am on Wednesday.
