Federal prosecutor has six people arrested

Under the direction of the Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland, six people were arrested in the Lucerne and Basel areas on Tuesday. In addition, nine house searches were carried out as part of the coordinated operation.
A spokeswoman for the Federal Police (Fedpol) confirmed a corresponding report by "20 Minuten" to the Keystone-SDA news agency on Wednesday. The action was preceded by months of investigations by Fedpol and the Lucerne police.
In addition to Fedpol, the Lucerne police, the cantonal police of Basel-Stadt and the Federal Office for Customs and Border Security were involved in the house searches.
The Lucerne police confirmed the operation, but did not provide any further details.
