Graubünden and Ticino governments show solidarity with Misox

Jon Domenic Parolini, President of the Graubünden cantonal government, has assured the communities in Misox GR affected by the storm of his cooperation. The President of the Ticino cantonal government, Christian Vitta, also expressed his solidarity with the affected population.
The two presidents of the cantonal government spoke at a joint media conference in Roveredo GR on Sunday. "I am saddened by the situation on the ground and my sympathies go out to those affected," said Parolini. He was impressed by the achievements of the local emergency and aid workers, who are doing an outstanding job. He hopes that the missing persons can be found as soon as possible.
Vitta spoke of "difficult moments" and addressed "very strong thoughts" to those affected. Nature can be very beautiful but also very painful, as we have experienced.
