Harris, Macron and Scholz have already left Ukraine conference

Several top politicians have already left the Ukraine conference on the Bürgenstock NW. US Vice President Kamala Harris, French President Emmanuel Macron and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida were among those who left after a few hours.
German Chancellor Olaf Scholz flew back to Berlin on Sunday morning to attend appointments. The delegations nevertheless continued the discussions. The heads of state and government were represented at the discussions.
In contrast, Italy's Prime Minister Georgia Meloni arrived at the summit on Sunday morning and gave a speech. She had previously concluded the three-day summit of the G7 states in southern Italy. Of the G7 countries, Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was also still at the Bürgenstock on Sunday, according to the Swiss Foreign Ministry.
