Helvetic Airways expands fleet with fourth Embraer

Helvetic Airways has completed its fleet expansion with the arrival of the fourth Embraer E195 on September 10. The Swiss regional airline's fleet now comprises 22 aircraft, including eight Embraer E190-E2s, four E195-E2s, six E190s and four E195s, as Helvetic Airways announced on Thursday.
The expansion will enable Helvetic Airways to maintain its target size of 16 operational aircraft and the planned flight program despite the necessary inspections of the Pratt & Whitney GTF engines installed in various aircraft types, the statement continues.
