The Swiss Lotto jackpot of 64.58 million francs was won on Saturday - by someone from German-speaking Switzerland or Ticino. No individual has ever won such a large amount in the more than 50-year history of the Swiss Lotto.

With the six correct numbers without a lucky number, another winner secured one million francs, according to a Swisslos statement on Saturday evening. In the next draw on Wednesday, 1.5 million francs will be in the jackpot.

To win the jackpot, you had to tick the numbers 5, 14, 33, 35, 36 and 41 for Saturday. The lucky number was 4, the rePLAY was 10 and the joker was 0 7 8 5 9 5.

The biggest ever win by an individual was achieved in 2014: On August 23, a lucky player with the numbers 3, 4, 7, 21, 22, 23 and the lucky number 2 scooped a sum of 48,598,075 francs and 75 centimes.

The biggest Swisslos jackpot ever won was a good seven years ago: 70 million francs were up for grabs in December 2016. However, three participants had to share the jackpot. They each received 23.4 million francs.
