More acts at Openair Gampel “than ever before”

Deichkind from Hamburg will be the first highlight of this year's Openair Gampel with a party on the opening day; the closing act will be German rapper Kool Savas. In between, there will be more acts than ever before, as the organizers announced on Thursday.
47 musicians will be performing on the stages of the Gampel Openair in Valais over the four days from August 15 to 18. The organizers have shortened the duration of some of the concerts in order to accommodate the rock, pop/rock, party jams, hip-hop and dance acts, as detailed in the press release.
In addition to international guests, Swiss acts are well represented. Stress, for example, will be presenting his MTV Unplugged album to mark his 20th stage anniversary. Bligg will be there, as will rapper Monet192 and Mimiks & LCone from Lucerne. Baschi, Remo Forrer, who represented Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2023, and singer-songwriter Nemo will provide softer sounds.
Top international acts include Californian punk group The Offspring, American-Lithuanian rapper and songwriter Ashnikko and British alternative rock musician Yungblud. Things get rock-pop when Tom Walker takes to the stage. Hip-hop is represented by Alligatoah and dance by Alan Walker. The folk-rock formation Versengold from Bremen will provide an acoustic sound paired with imaginative lyrics and unusual arrangements.
And rather unusual is LaBrassbanda - modern brass band music on a Sunday morning. The festival organizers promise another Sunday special with influencer and fitness queen Pamela Reif. Otherwise only seen on screens, she will be presenting her workout sessions on the festival stages.
