After winning the ESC, Nemo sent "lots of love home". The Swiss figurehead thanked all the people who had been watching at home in front of the media in Malmö, Sweden.
"What just happened?" asked Nemo after winning the Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) in a video published online by "20 Minuten" on Sunday morning. In it, Nemo also answered questions from the international press in flawless English and was beaming all over his face.
The 24-year-old music talent said in the video that it was difficult to process what had just happened. For himself, the victory is incredibly wonderful. But Nemo also hopes that many people feel seen and represented. The talented musician couldn't be more proud to be part of the non-binary and queer community in general.
After packing his suitcases in Malmö, Sweden, Nemo wants to travel straight to Biel BE. If possible, the talented singer hopes to spend some time in the garden there. "There's a lot to process, I'll do that in the next few days." But first Nemo wants to give lots of people a hug.
Nemo brought the Eurovision Song Contest to Switzerland with the song "The Code". It was the country's third victory since the first edition in 1956.
