Number of Departures at Zurich Airport in July Increased

At Zurich Airport, there were 23,058 flight movements in July 2023, 4.9% more than in June and 10.1% more than in the same month last year. Compared to pre-pandemic levels, the number of flight movements is still around 13% lower. The flight movements are based on a daily updated statistic that includes all flights according to instrument flight rules, such as scheduled flights, cargo, business and private flights. The number of flight movements does not reflect the size of the aircraft or their occupancy rate. Detailed passenger and traffic figures for July will be released by Zurich Airport on August 14th.nn
