Number of people injured in fire in Spreitenbach reduced to 14

The number of people injured in the fire in an eleven-storey block of flats in Spreitenbach AG has been downgraded to 14. With fresh air, five people have already recovered, said a spokeswoman for the Aargau cantonal police at the request of Keystone-SDA.
One of the 14 injured people was still seriously injured in the fire, the spokeswoman continued on Monday morning. The person had been taken to hospital.
The police spokeswoman said that fresh air could already help in cases of smoke inhalation. Initially, the police had assumed that 19 people were injured. They were taken to hospital for a check-up.
