The "OneLog" service used by numerous Swiss media outlets resumed operations on Monday following a hacker attack. This was reported by "Blick online" on its own behalf.
Users will be prompted to set a new password when logging in, according to the press release. At the same time, it warns against "phishing": the request is only made when logging in, not by email.
"OneLog" assumes an act of cyber sabotage; the investigation is continuing with the involvement of the relevant authorities. Extensive investigations are being carried out to determine the full extent and concrete effects of the cyber attack. "OneLog" is also in contact with the relevant authorities in Switzerland and the EU.
The OneLog service, which was launched a good three years ago, is used by over 40 online portals, including those of the major media companies Tamedia, Ringier and SRG.
