Organizers Draw Positive Balance for the First Edition of Spex

The first edition of the Hip-Hop Festival Spex in Bern was attended by 10,000 people instead of the expected 18,000. Despite this, the organisers drew a positive conclusion from the two-day event. The goal of creating a high-quality and peaceful Hip-Hop festival for a young audience was achieved, with no significant incidents reported. There were many positive feedbacks regarding the atmosphere, ambience and overall offering. A survey will be conducted to get a detailed opinion from the audience. Some of the most famous artists who performed at the two-day festival included RIN, Alligatoah, Kool Savas, Yung Hurn, Nura, Stereo Luchs and Mimiks. In addition to the musical program on two stages, visitors could enjoy sports and lifestyle activities at the Spex Court. Another edition of the festival is already planned for 5/6 July 2024.
