Walter Thurnherr, the outgoing Federal Chancellor, has praised the improved and accelerated crisis management of the Federal government, particularly in relation to the collapse of the major bank Credit Suisse. He noted that when the problems of Credit Suisse became known in the autumn, the government reacted quickly. He also noted that the government can always resort to emergency measures, although it can be debated whether this is justified. In relation to e-voting, the necessary measures were taken after the first software failure and the second test is running well. However, it is up to the legislature to decide whether the risk of electronic voting is too great and the exercise can be stopped at any time.nnnnnnnnnn
