The media's last polls and forecasts for the Swiss National Council elections in comparison to the results have shown that, unlike in 2019, neither the Gallup nor the GFS Bern research institutes conducted any election polls this year. The Link Institute also did not collect any relevant data. This means that the media's predictions for the election results were not based on any scientific data. However, the results of the election showed that the Swiss People's Party (SVP) remained the largest party in the National Council, with a total of 65 seats. The Social Democratic Party (SP) came in second with 43 seats, followed by the Free Democratic Party (FDP) with 33 seats. The Green Party (GPS) and the Christian Democratic People's Party (CVP) both gained 22 seats, while the Liberal Green Party (GLP) won 11 seats. Overall, the SVP, SP, FDP, GPS, CVP and GLP all increased their share of the vote compared to the 2019 election.
