Police in Geneva broke up a pro-Palestine protest at the School of Art and Design (Head) on Thursday evening. The demonstrators eventually left the site on their own, according to the cantonal police.

The pro-Palestinian activists had occupied a school building and the adjacent forecourt, according to the police. The school management then demanded that the police evacuate. The intervention took place at around 8.30 pm.

On site, the police reportedly asked those present to leave the school grounds within ten minutes. The demonstrators then left the site peacefully, the police said.
