Police seize nine kilograms of cocaine during house searches

Following the arrest of a suspected drug dealer on Monday, the Zurich cantonal police have seized a large quantity of drugs during several house searches. A total of eight people were arrested.
Investigators from the Zurich cantonal police observed the suspected drug dealer selling cocaine in District 4 in the city of Zurich on Monday. She was arrested.
Following investigations, several house searches were carried out on Tuesday. A total of around nine kilograms of cocaine, several hundred grams each of amphetamine, hashish, marijuana and sweets containing THC, as well as two handguns, around 400 rounds of ammunition and around 30,000 francs were seized.
The people arrested are two women and six men aged between 23 and 61. They come from Germany, the UK, Mexico and Switzerland.
