Prisoners Refused to Return to Their Cells in Liestal Prison

On Monday afternoon, 24 inmates at Liestal BL prison refused to return to their cells. After three hours, the police were able to restore order. The incident began with a verbal dispute between inmates and prison staff. The police arrived with a larger force to help restore order. No injuries were reported and the situation was brought under control. The cause of the incident is still under investigation.
