The citizens of the canton of Aargau in Switzerland have elected Thierry Burkart (FDP, incumbent) to the Council of States. For the second seat, a second round of voting will take place on November 19th. An absolute majority of 96,112 votes is required to win the seat. The second round of voting will decide who will take the second seat in the Council of States.
