Results of the First National Projection of the SRG

According to the first national projection of the Swiss Broadcasting Corporation (SRG SSR) at 4pm, the Swiss People's Party (SVP) is projected to win the most votes in the Swiss federal election, with 28.9% of the vote. The Social Democratic Party (SP) is projected to come in second with 19.8%, followed by the Green Party (GPS) with 14.9%. The Liberal Party (FDP) is projected to come in fourth with 11.5%, while the Christian Democratic Party (CVP) is projected to come in fifth with 10.7%.
The SVP is projected to gain the most seats in the Swiss Federal Assembly, with 65 out of 200. The SP is projected to gain 44 seats, the GPS 28, the FDP 22, and the CVP 21. The remaining seats are projected to be divided among the other parties.
