This heatwave is expected to continue into next week, with temperatures reaching up to 30 degrees. The high humidity levels will make it feel even hotter. There have already been some thunderstorms in the Jura region, and more are expected in the coming days. This heatwave is not unexpected, as a south-westerly wind is bringing hot and humid air from the Iberian Peninsula into Switzerland.
