Robber couple tie up night porter of hotel in Egerkingen SO

Unknown persons robbed the night porter of a hotel in Egerkingen SO on Saturday night. They then fled with an initially unknown amount of loot. According to the police, the porter was not physically injured.
Two people entered the reception area of the hotel on Oltnerstrasse at around 03.30 a.m., the Solothurn cantonal police reported on Saturday. They threatened the night porter with a weapon, tied him up and forced him to open the safe.
According to the communiqué, the two escaped unidentified after the crime. According to previous findings, it is likely to be a man and a woman who spoke French, wrote the Politei.
Both wanted persons were dressed in dark clothing and wore hoods: The man wore a dark one, the woman a light one. The police issued an appeal for witnesses.
